ARC

Edit: We reached our quota far faster than I expected. If you haven't received an email, best of luck next time. Look for the book on June 3

I'm finally ready to release the ARC for Secrets Bound By Sand. I know a few of you have been waiting so here it is.

I'm giving away 30 copies. Once they're gone, you'll have to wait until the book comes out on June 3 to read it. For those who wish to, you can preorder your copy of Secrets Bound by Sand on Amazon. You can find it here.

This is going to work the same way as it has in the past. It will be first come, first serve. Once there are no more slots, that will be the end and there will be no more copies given.

Below is a link. Click on it and fill out the form. Once you've finished and submitted your email, you'll receive an email from me containing the link to download. I suggest keeping an eye out for the email as the first thirty people to download will receive a copy. Sometimes more links are given out than there are copies since some of the applications come so closely together.

One note - once the limit is reached I will break the link and include an edit to the post saying no more ARCs are available.

Good Luck!

The ARC of Goodness

EDIT: We have met the limit. Thanks to everyone who volunteered. If you missed it this time around, keep your eye out next time.

The ARC has come once again. Thirty copies just waiting for a new home on someone's eReader. For those waiting to get your greedy little paws on the latest adventure of Shea and Fallon ahead of the release date, please keep reading.

Wayfarer's Keep, book 3 of the Broken Lands Series will be out on September 5. I've just put it up for preorder on all of the distributors except for Amazon so it should be live soon. The preorder for Amazon will go up later this month. I'll get you guys the links as they come available.

That means I'm finally ready to release the ARC to several lucky people. I'm going to do this the same way I did it last time. This method seemed to work well, and same rules apply. It will be first come, first serve. Once there are no more slots, that will be the end and there will be no more copies given.

Below is a link. Click on it and fill out the form. Once you've finished and submitted your email, you'll receive an email from me containing the link to download. The first thirty people to respond will receive a copy.

Good Luck!

Warning - ARC Ahead

Edit: Looks like we've just about hit our number. Thanks to everyone who signed up. For those who didn't make it this time, I will probably be doing an ARC for the next time and you are welcome to try then.

All right, I've finally got all my ducks in a row, my edges squared away, and a method to corral the madness. Hopefully.

As those of you who read the blog or visit Facebook know, Destruction's Ascent, book 3 of the Dragon Ridden Chronicles, finally has a preorder date of May 1. That means I am ready to do an ARC for the first time ever.

Disclaimer 1- I'm kind of winging it here so please be patient if this process is a wee bit unorganized. I've done my best to make it as easy as possible, but there may be some hiccups since this is my first attempt.

I thought of a lot of ways to distribute the ARCS-running a contest, going through everyone who has reached out to me in the past year expressing interest, just posting a link and then running and hiding. I don't think I'll do any of those. To be as fair as possible, I'm making it a first come, first serve.

Below is a link. Click on it and fill out the form. Once you've finished you'll receive an email from me containing the link to download. Right now I have it set at twenty five so the first twenty five people to respond will receive a copy.

Ready. Set. Go.

Updates

If this first month is any indication of how the rest of the year is going to go, I am going to be very, very busy. Not just on the writing front, but in my personal life as well. For starters, I've finally finished my move, and my condo is being prepared to be put on the market. Factor in that I've made significant headway in wedding plans, and you're looking at someone who is surviving on very little sleep or reading time. (Note- Wedding planning is not for the week of heart.)

In addition to all the personal kerfluffel, I've managed to proof and upload the final, final, FINAL copy of Moonlight's Ambassador to Amazon. This is probably the closest I've cut it to the publishing deadline, so it is a huge relief to know it's up and that I don't have to do anything else to it. No more proofing, formatting, or stressing. Just the soothing knowledge that it's done. Unfortunately, I don't know if it makes sense to do an ARC since we only have a week until it goes live. I may have to wait until the next book to put that idea into production.

In other news, Dragon 3 continues to chug along. I have roughly 35,000 words left of the first draft, maybe more. I'm entering the climax and trying to bring to fruition all those seeds I planted in the first part of the book. I'm at the stage where I have no idea if the story I've written is working and I'm just desperately trying to finish. There are so many tangled threads right now that I'm having serious anxiety about whether I'm going to be able to weave everything together into a cohesive whole in the few words I have left. A lot of things are supposed to happen this book. Now it's a matter of making those things happen without forcing or short changing them. It's harder than it sounds.

The crazy thing is I've been here before on other books. The worst was probably Pathfinder's Way. It's why it took me almost 3 years to finish. Since taking that long isn't really an option anymore, it means having to find my way through the weeds. It can be difficult, but I have faith that the finished product will be worth the struggle. If nothing else, I'll just have a really extensive editing cycle this time. I guess that's a silver lining of a sort.
